I Corinthians 15:6

The apostle Paul writing (God speaking via scripture...The Word), reminding the believers at the church in Corinth of the facts after the resurrection of Jesus.

Wycliffe Bible of 1384:6aftirward he was seyn to mo than fyue hundrid britheren togidere, of whiche manye lyuen yit, but summe ben deed; aftirward he was seyn to James,

King James Bible of 1611: "After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep."

NAS Bible of 1960:  "After that He appeared to more than five hundred brethren at one time, most of whom remain until now, but some have fallen asleep;"

NIV Bible 1973-78: "After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep."
